“Auan Na Moo Krob Cha Shu” was established in 2019 under the management of Aun Na Co., Ltd. by Mr. Krittathat Phonphongchotiwit, Mr. Kunlapat Phonphongchotiwit, and Mr. Kunlawat Phonphongchotiwit, three siblings who love cooking with all their hearts. Previously, the three of them studied and lived as chefs in Australia, a city of diverse food and culture. If you walk down the streets, you will see many restaurants that combine food from many ethnicities. When they returned to Thailand, they intended to use their accumulated experience to open their own restaurant brand. They started with online sales only and were able to make sales of up to 300,000 baht in a single day, making “Aun Na Moo Krob Cha Shu” famous throughout Thailand. With such an overwhelming response, the three of them decided to open a shop in October 2019.
“Auan Na Moo Krob Chashu” is a fusion restaurant that combines Hong Kong-style crispy pork with Japanese pork chashu. The word fat na means something delicious that you can’t stop eating, even if it makes you fat!
We invented the recipe for crispy pork chashu ourselves from our 10 years of experience as a chef in Australia. It has a unique feature of crispy pork that is rolled up like the pork chashu in ramen. It has a crispy texture on the outside and soft on the inside, so we named it Crispy Pork Chashu. We also use Kojibuta pork imported from Japan. Kojibuta pork is pork that is fed with grains and fermented with microorganisms that are used to marinate in sake, resulting in a lot of meat and less fat. It takes 3 days to make it meticulously. In addition to the crispy pork chashu, which is the highlight of the restaurant, we also have a variety of single-dish menus starting at only 85 baht and dim sum with unique flavors to serve customers.
